Sanoli Chowdhury is an Indian singer-songwriter, music producer and audio engineer based out of Bengaluru, Karnataka. Her journey as a musician started at the age of 7 with the guitar and now extends into the realm of vocals, production and engineering.

Characteristics of her work consist of ambient textures married with subtle guitar passages and understated vocals which give her music a distinct and unique impression. Her current work as a producer and songwriter often speaks of instinctive navigation of unknown feelings and memory – a sort of “subconscious awareness” as she states. This awareness creates a narrative that is reflective and melancholic. The flowing guitars and a unique vocal style creates for an experience that seems to detach the listener from conscious reality yet has elements that are connected to emotions that can’t be described with words. Her music could be described as a surreal combination of personal observations and a certain influence of mysticism. She has been well received by her audience for creating art that speaks to people’s fascination for the unknown.

Sanoli Chowdhury is under the UK based record label ‘United Sound Entertainment’ and has released two EP’s with them so far. The first release being in 2020, It’s All a Monotonous Game and A Distant Meadow in 2021. She also dabbles with Lo-Fi music as her side project with an American based Lo-Fi label ‘Arden Records’ and has also released two EP’s with them; Absence and Will You Ever Know?.
